A Meeting for Members and their guests in London is the AGM in March/April.
There is a snack meal, then a report from the President followed by a speaker often, but not always, on a topic of East African flavour.
The next London Meeting is on March 18th 2008.
The Summer Luncheon is held in Farnham on the first Sunday in August each year.
Group Meetings are held in various counties once or twice a year so that those possibly unable to attend meetings in London can keep in touch with old friends and meet new ones. Any proceeds from meetings are given to the EAWL(UK) Benevolent Fund which helps former residents of East Africa, of UK origin, who are lonely, ill or in need of some help.
